Responsible printing services our CSR activities

At AXLO, we see and do more! Our commitment goes beyond fulfilling orders for clients; it encompasses a range of additional activities. These efforts enable us to better understand industry challenges, assist others in promoting their businesses, and support selected charitable causes.

Our CSR mission is to foster a culture of responsibility and ethics, particularly among the younger generation.

AXLO supports youth development

Didactic help – As part of our commitment to community support, Axlo donated sets of sewing patterns to the Poznań Clothing School. This initiative aims to inspire students to learn sewing, nurture their creativity, and develop essential skills.

Internship program – supporting ethical leadership in printing. Since 2012, Axlo has operated its printing house with a commitment to honesty towards clients and business partners. Our actions are guided by ethical principles based on trust, fostering our reputation as a responsible and reliable service provider to partners worldwide. We aim to inspire more companies to adopt similar values, starting with nurturing ethical foundations in young people who will shape the future of their own businesses and organizational cultures.

To support this vision, we have developed an internship program for students in their final years at the Printing Technical Secondary School of Lelewela in Poznań. Through this program, students not only delve into printing topics but also learn the importance of accountability for their work and commitments to clients and partners. We believe that each of us can contribute to making the world a better place through ethical leadership and responsible business practices.

Promoting sewing and ecological approaches to clothing production

National Competition “MasterSzew”Inspired by our international partners and observing how sewing empowers people globally to unleash their creativity, pride, and uniqueness, we decided to activate similar initiatives in our own country. Driven by a strong sense of social responsibility, we believe that each of us can make the world a better, friendlier place. However, achieving this requires contributing to the community.

That’s why we decided to share our knowledge and resources. Utilizing our technological capabilities, we created a tool to help Polish women and men easily sew their own clothes. We developed patterns for self-sewing garments, designed for people with no prior sewing experience. Our mission focuses particularly on Polish teenagers and young adults who often spend their time in shopping malls or in front of computers.

As parents ourselves, we understand the importance of fostering passions and hobbies in our children’s lives. It’s our responsibility as parents and guardians to nurture their sense of influence over their lives and help them develop their individuality.

To achieve our mission, we created the iNEEDle clothing pattern brand—a tool designed to make sewing accessible to everyone. Our patterns are simple, the instructions are clear, and the designs are appealing to young users.

We developed a collection of 20 easy-to-sew clothing models, adaptable to all body types, allowing everyone to create their own basic wardrobe.

We also organize competitions and events that promote sewing in a “fashionable way,” while highlighting the issue of excessive consumerism. Our flagship event is the “MasterSzew” competition, which has even garnered involvement from Polish celebrities who donate clothes they no longer wear.

Instead of discarding old clothes, participants created new garments from randomly selected packages containing patterns, fabric, and clothes. During a 6-hour live event, creativity and joy abounded as participants crafted wonderful “new” clothes, fostering a great sense of pride. The resulting garments were donated to charity to ensure they continued to be used.

Local sewing meetings – In addition to our nationwide sewing initiatives, we also focus on local activities. In our hometown of Poznań, we organize joint sewing meetings called “Poznań sews,” bringing the community together to share their passion for sewing.

At these meetings, each participant sews whatever they wish, and experienced sewers share their knowledge with beginners. The conversations extend beyond sewing, creating a rich community atmosphere. At one meeting, we had three generations—mother, daughter, and granddaughter—each sewing something different according to their abilities and interests.

Polish DIY chamber foundation

The Polish Chamber of DIY was established to support small handicraft and craft businesses with a focus on environmental protection. The Foundation initiated the Sewing, Handicraft, and DIY Zone at the Hobby Fair in Poznań and organizes numerous events under the theme “We recycle, not throw away clothes.” Additionally, the Foundation participates in nationwide charity events such as the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.

During the pandemic, we launched the nationwide #PreczZarazo (#DownPlague) campaign. Together with a local sewing school, we developed free patterns for masks and protective suits, enabling others to join in sewing and support our brave medical staff. It was incredibly encouraging to see people with sewing skills come together to create medical clothing that aided doctors during this challenging time. Companies that could provide additional services, such as cutting materials or supplying raw materials, also joined the effort. We believe that acting for the greater good helps unite people.
